An absolutely fantastic blue sapphire from small-scale mining in Ilakaka, Madagascar, with a very minor color zone. Great clarity and excellent quality for a ring stone. Cut into a classic cushion.
Disclaimer: This Sapphire was purchased as unheated rough directly at the mine. Our internal examination showed no signs of heat treatment, and in the past, over 95% of this material has been confirmed as unheated by external laboratories.
